Yan Wang (王艷) is currently a lecturer in the Department of Translation at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research interests are legal translation, functional linguistics, and descriptive translation studies. Her recent publications include two books: A Comparative Study on the Translation of Detective Stories from a Systemic Functional Perspective (2020) by Springer and Chinese Legal Translation: An Analysis of Conditional Clauses in Hong Kong Bilingual Ordinances (2024) by Routledge.
