Yu Kit Cheung (張宇傑) is Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Chinese Translation Studies at The University of Manchester, United Kingdom (U.K.). He is also a Steering Committee Member of the East Asian Translation Pedagogy Advance, U.K., and a Chartered Linguist of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, U.K. Previously, he had taught translation at Lingnan University of Hong Kong for eight years until 2021, where he also served as its Chinese and Translation Editor in 2020–21. In 2018–21, he was Vice President of the Hong Kong Translation Society. In addition to academic works, he publishes short articles about translation and language in general on his personal website: Fans of Translation (https://www.fansoftranslation.com/).
